FDLA members share knowledge and resources among themselves, with the community, and with other organizations committed to advancing distance learning technologies and practice. The FDLA also sponsors professional development opportunities.
The FDLA is affiliated with the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA). When you join the FDLA, you will also become a basic member of the USDLA.
To establish a network of people whose focus is to provide support and cooperative programs and activities through videoconferencing and other distance learning technologies for the betterment of education, local economies, and the community
To collaborate with educational institutions, cultural centers, community groups, service organizations, and government agencies
